Women to Women Delegation
June 29 to July 7, 2007
Former volunteer, Jennifer Collins is working
with CRISPAZ to organize an educational seminar to El Salvador
in from June 29 to July 7, 2007. We are designing
the delegation to focus on important themes related to women and
youth in El Salvador . The interfaith delegation will be comprised
of women spanning different generations.
The cost of the Encounter is $760 which includes ground transportation,
room and board, interpretation/translation and accompaniment by
a CRISPAZ staff member. Airfare is not included. A $50 deposit
per person is required to officially reserve your place on the
Encounter and is due March 29, 2007.

We need a minimum of 7 women for the delegation to take place and
can accept a maximum of 15, so call or email as soon as possible
to reserve your participation.
The delegation is still in the planning phases until we have
group confirmation but below is a list of possible activities and
issues that will be explored:
• Visit Pro-busqueda, an organization
that reunites families separated by the war.
• Meet with Flor de Piedra an organization for and
of sex workers.
• Meet with women members of MOJE in Ilobasco to learn
about their experience in gangs and as young women in a
violent society.
• Meeting with women's groups in parishes, groups
that work with victims of domestic abuse, organizations
working on women's reproductive health.
• Visit women's craft cooperative
• Meet with women from the STIT and visit Just Garments
(a sweat-free factory).
• Spend the night in a rural community with a dynamic
women's group/organization.
